SanFrancisco to Maui, then Aloha Air to Kona on the big island of Hawaii. Picked up our small Dodge Stratus rental car and drove the beautiful coastline to the Kona Shores apartments in Kailua-Kona. This is the "dry" side of the Island. Hilo, on the other side gets most of the rain.
