Leaving the Hopi lands for a day, I drove to Piñon on the Navajo lands, 17 miles on this dirt road, to visit Leroy and Rochelle and their daughter Lyla. Leroy is a Navajo silversmith. His mother weaves Navajo rugs and they live on the family land.
