ULM PISHKIN

This is a so-called "buffalo jump." Early native inhabitants of this country would stampede the bison, and force them over this cliff. When excavations were done at the base of this cliff, there were thirteen feet of bison bones! This is Ulm Pishkin, now a Montana State Park with an excellent museum of the history of the Native Americans in this
area.
